Yifang Wang (王懿芳) is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow in The Center for Science of Science & Innovation (CSSI) in Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, under the supervision of Prof. Dashun WANG. Before that, she obtained a Ph.D. degree in Department of Computer Science and Engineering from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST, 2022), at HKUST VisLab, under the supervision of Prof. Huamin QU. Before that, she obtained her B.Eng. degree from Zhejiang University majoring in Software Engineering in 2018. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in ZJUIDG Group at the State Key Lab of CAD & CG, supervised by Prof. Yingcai WU and her work mainly focused on Immersive Visual Analytics with AR & VR.
Her research interests lies broadly in visual analytics of computational social science and digital humanities. She is also interested in data art, data storytelling, and anomaly detection.
She is a data player, designer, writer, photographer, guitar aficionado, and life watcher.
